When the inaugural Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival kick started back in 2008, the festival received eight film submissions by Malaysian film makers. Fast forward to 2018, this number has been steadily increasing over the years with close to 50 film submissions this year by Malaysians.

In its 11th year, KLEFF 2018 will feature close to 100 environment-themed films from over 38 countries. A festival for all Malaysians that isn’t afraid to challenge its audience, it offers 11 official selections, with films that focus on this year’s festival theme – “Forests, Water and Climate Change”.
