An introduction about EcoKnights and 9th International Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Fest was made by Fadly Bakhtiar. He also explained all categories available for the KLEFF2016 such as feature film, documentaries, short film, animations, and public services announcement (PSA). Another special category made by collaboration with UNDP and JKR (UNDP-JKR Energy Efficiency in Building) also have been introduces. Various awards have been stated during the film screening such as Best Feature Film, Best Short Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Animation, Best PSA, Special Jury Awards. A new award for KLEFF university partner, the Young Filmmaker Award will be given to the best film made by them.. Some video that have been screened are ‘Go Green’ (PSA category), ‘Save Water, Share Happiness’, ‘Aku Plastik Kamu?’ and ‘Sunset Over Selungo’.
