[Press Release] Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival Announces Film Submission Results
PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – August 5th 2016 – The 9th International Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival 2016 (KLEFF2016) has accepted a total of 249 films out of 334 submissions from 45 countries, and we are thrilled to have such overwhelming numbers!
Due to the overwhelming submissions this year, it is impossible for us to screen all films in the span of three days. The jury committee had to make tough decision and selected almost 90 films to be screened this year at the festival. Rest assured, our goal is to keep spreading the important environmental messages through films to as many people in Malaysia and we are working hard to look for potential partners to screen the remaining films for this year. We truly appreciate your understanding and support on this matter. However, we will try our level best to feature your films at our satellite screening happening all over Malaysia from the month of September up to December 2016.
The following is the breakdown of the number of submissions, the number of films accepted, submissions by countries, as well as the list of accepted films.
