KLEFF Partners with The Penang Green Council to Encourage Youths to Shoot More Green Stories

25th January, 2016, Kuala Lumpur – The 9th KLEFF is proud to announce that the Festival will be in partnership with the Penang Green Council (PGC) this year.

This partnership also extends to the Penang Green Video competition where Penang youths are encouraged to document environmental stories in the island of Penang.

Winners and winning films of the Penang Green Video competition will automatically be eligible to participate in the 2017 KLEFF film competition. In addition, submission fees will be waived for the winning films of the Penang Green Video competition.

“We are very excited to have PGC on board and we hope that this partnership will encourage more Penang youths to participate in the Penang Green Video competition, and at the same time, also promote the environmental stories in Penang to a broader audience,” said Fadly Bakhtiar, Festival Director for KLEFF.
